Great place to have a Donair! This appears to be a family run place, and they sure take pride in their food.
First time ever seeing a Donair place where they don't just bring out premade fast food. Instead, the owner takes yours order and then makes it individually. He flattens the dough and then brings it to the oven just for your order!
The taste is fantastic! The meat is juicy and melts in your mouth. Nothing is overwhelming, but just enough for you to taste the fresh onion alongside a savoury slice of meat. This is all balanced out with a slightly toasted piece of bread which balances out all of the flavours.
Service is not bad, especially for a family run place. Menu is surprisingly extensive. Price is great! A good portion that is worth your money, and sure to make you feel full.
All in all, great place to eat. One of the best Donair places I have been to. Will definitely come back! -

On a whim,we found ourselves , my daughter and I, in Abbotsford doing a little thrifting. We also found ourselves hungry. Naturally I clicked open Yelp, and this little gem nearly popped right out at me. It had quite a good rating considering how many reviews it had so the hook was in. My daughter and I didn't have a hard time finding it, and there was plenty of parking.
When we got in there were few people in the restaurant, and nobody had any food. We ordered and, shortly after, a couple that came in behind us ordered also. I was a little confused because we didn't stand in a line and wait for the food to be shoveled into pre-made pita bread and quickly wrapped and handed to us. Instead we sat down and our food was prepared to order. And I mean to order, even the pita bread. What I assume is the owner, rolled out the dough, and using a long dowel, to very gracefully spread the dough out in his pizza oven, which I can only assume he has for only this purpose.
They didn't ask us what we wanted on it, only, "do you want it's spicy?". To be honest, this was not fast food, and I was very hungry. Heck, I was even borderline hangry, but I kept my cool. After all, I knew only one other Donair joint that made their bread to order, and that was the best donair I had had up until that point. Incidentally, that place is Mega Donair in Coquitlam on Clark Road. Truly a regular haunt of mine when I was working in Coquitlam.
To make a long story, well, not quite as damn long... best damn lamb Donair (10/10) I have ever had the pleasure of cramming in my cake hole. The Falafel Donair (10/10) that my daughter ate, was equally as delicious. The lamb was beautifully crispy on the outside and the rap had just the right balance of vegetables and sauce, and of course, they're ethereal bread. Yes ... ethereal. Pickled banana peppers were a nice touch. Don't usually find those on donairs. The fellow that owns this joint can be proud that he has created something truly beautiful. One might think that the lowly street food, referred to as the donair kabob, could not rise to such levels, but alas...it has. -

Saw many good reviews on this place and decided to give it a try since I love middle eastern donair. The experience was quite disappointing though and I am truly sad that I haven't found a good donair in the Abbotsford area.
I ordered the chicken shwarma platter for just under $11. It came with chicken, rice salad, pita, hummus and a pop. It sounds like a lot of of food but the portion size was so small that I was actually sad! There was a meagre amount of chicken placed over a quarter cup of rice swimming in oil. The chicken and rice were not flavoured right. The salad was wilted lettuce covered in white dressing. The hummus was watery and had too much of this green herb in it and it was greasy at the same time. The enter plate was covered in oil and white sauce and only a few drops of hot sauce. The only good thing was the pita which came out of the oven fresh and crispy and was quite big in comparison to the store bought ones you get at other donair joints. There is just too much fat and grease.
Not worth the money. -

I had an opportunity to be in the city and decided to try this place out. I met a wonderful lady who welcomed me upon entering. I tried the deluxe donair and also wanted to try their in house made pita with their hummus. Boy was I happy with this. So freshly made and the size of the pita, so large and so light. The hummus wasn't your typical consistency. It was saucier and it was delicious. The donair was so wonderfully tasty. I asked the lady to put a mix of the Halifax sauce with the tzatziki as well and that was a good decision. It was a great mix of garlic and salty and sweet. I loved it. This place is very spacious and only a few tables. I'm glad I came to this place. I am coming back for sure.

This place is a hidden gem. A great place to get donair, falafel, or shawarma. They make their own pita-style bread in house, and this delicious fact is worth the trip alone. My chicken shawarma was tender and flavourful, and the hummus is unique and delicately flavoured. The bread is a major highlight; so good! Highly recommended.
